One of our amazing air safari tours is the 2 Days Lamu by Air safari tour. Lamu is heavily influenced by the Islamic religion, and makes for an extremely cultural and educational visit.
In fact, a trip to Lamu by air is suitable for this region, since the only car in the region is owned by the District Officer!
The itinery of the trip begins with a morning transfer from your hotel in Mombasa or Nairobi to the airport for a flight directly to Lamu. Upon arrival, a boat will pick you up to take you to New Lamu Palace Hotel where you’ll have lunch.
You’ll have the afternoon and evening to explore Lamu, with an overnight stay and dinner in New Lamu Palace Hotel. If you speak to reception, you can arrange to be taken snorkelling, swimming and sunbathing on the hotel’s private Manda Island beach. Sounds amazing, right?
On day 2, you’ll enjoy Lamu in the morning and, after lunch, have a transfer to the airport to be returned to your hotel.
