“Paradise of the Sable antelope”

Shimba Hills National Reserve also known as “Paradise of the Sable Antelope” is one of the largest coastal forests in East Africa after Arabuko-Sokoke Forest, this reserve is rich in flora and fauna and hosts the highest density of African elephant in Kenya.  Some of the attractions are; Sable Antelope, Elephant Habitat, Sheldrick Falls, Various View Points and Mwaluganje Forest.

Details

After  early breakfast at your hotel we will drive up to Shimba Hills National Reserve and enjoy a game drive in search of the rare Sable Antelope, Elephants, Buffalo, Giraffes, Impala and Leopards, in the park before having lunch. After lunch head to Elephant Lookout where mid-afternoon you will go on a hike with a Ranger down to the beautiful Sheldrick Falls and relax beside the coolness of the waterfall. Then return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
